Francesco Favagrossa, founder of FIAM

Born in 1923, after the war he used his technical knowledge to rebuild motorbikes from the components of old motorbikes abandoned by the American army.

In 1975, his inventive spirit led him to develop the first metal furniture and to found FIAM with his son Ennio. With the arrival of the second son, Silvio, and the acquisition of a small company producing woven deckchairs, the company grew steadily. Since then, each product has been characterised by an original, functional design and mechanical and technological solutions with carefully studied components.

Ennio Favagrossa

The eldest son of Francesco Favagrossa, with whom he founded FIAM at the age of 18. Born in 1956, he was very young when he and his father decided to go into the business. Not without difficulty, he managed to find his way between budgets, productions and learning how to create, following in his father's footsteps.

From 1975 to the present day, Francesco and Ennio Favagrossa have designed most of FIAM's models.

Roberto Gatti

Roberto Gatti was born in 1975, the year FIAM was founded, and grew up in the company breathing in the creative spirit of Francesco and Ennio. In his role as Sales Manager, he optimises production processes in relation to markets, ensures teamwork with internal staff and customers, and creates synergies with distributors. He is also responsible for marketing and communications. For him, design was a natural consequence of three decades of living, not just working, in the FIAM world, constantly collaborating with key partners in the design sector.
